How to Get Everyone to Really Really Like You

Introduce Yourself

Whether you’re at work, a bar, party, or family dinner, make sure everyone in the room has formally met. If you’re the stranger immediately introduce yourself, shake hands and smile. People will automatically like you. It’s so easy.

Smile

All that science about humans appreciating smiles because smiling takes so many muscles is 100%...true. Take any movie. The hero smiles and the villain doesn’t. Be the hero.

Keep Stories to 10 Seconds

Only tell stories when they are super entertaining and relevant, because in general, nobody cares. When you do tell one give a cliff notes ten second version, and if people are completely engrossed then elaborate.

Do Things that Scare You

Anything that gives you weak knees and a nasty feeling in your stomach is a must. I don’t mean sky diving. I mean travelling, reconnecting with an old friend, sharing your talent, asking someone to meet up outside of work or school. By overcoming these silly fears you’re giving others permission to do the same.

Don’t Try to Win Conversations

“I went and saw The Rolling Stones.”

NO: “Sick, I’ve never seen them but I’ve seen Paul McCartney twice!”

Yes: “Sick, what was their best song live?”

Be Courteous

Again, a simple “please,” “thanks a lot,” “have a good one,” “Appreciate it” will take you further in the world than a space ship, college education, and beauty combined.

Be Down for Anything

Everyone’s down to go out on Friday night. When someone suggests a hike, bars, or shopping on Tuesday evening after work just go. Or better yet be the one to suggest it. When someone invites you somewhere, say yes, or else they may stop askin

Never Ever Complain About Injuries/Sickness

Unless you broke your arm chasing a baby monkey, or you got your terrible hangover because the cop in the drunk tank wouldn’t give you any water because you called him “Chubbs”, people simply don’t care. Chances are they’re not feeling 100% either, and you whining about phantom injuries only makes it worse.

Include Everyone

If you’re lucky enough to have good friends include people who don’t. It’s easy to get caught up trying to have the perfect crew for a night at the bars, but more really is merrier. If the kid you invite sucks, don’t invite them next time and feel good that you at least tried.

Be Humble

Sharing accomplishments inspires others, but constantly sharing them infuriates others. Also, keep in mind that people usually find modesty more impressive than the feat itself.

Talk About Topics that Interest Others

It’s important to have a wealth of knowledge and experiences so you can converse about topics that others are interested in when necessary. If you’re uninformed on what someone’s talking about then ask questions and listen. People like that, and you might learn something cool.

Talk to Everyone Like They’re Your Friend

Again, being yourself gives others permission to do the same. We’re all just people, let’s stop posturing and communicate like it. Don’t talk down to the garbage man, or suck up to your boss.

Give Rides

Giving rides sucks. But, with rides more than anything, the slight inconvenience for you is far outweighed by the gratitude of someone that, for once, doesn’t have to walk.

Be Kind to Everyone

It's the golden rule, but nobody would follow it if didn't make you feel so amazing.

Things Guys ALWAYS Lie About

Of course you don’t look fat in that"

You walked into this one ladies! All men know that when you ask whether an outfit makes you look fat, they must say no. Even if you do. If you really want the answer, find a straight-shooting girlfriend.

Of course I don’t visit those websites"

All men visit adult websites from time to time. The lure of all that racy material available at all hours is just too tempting. If he tells you any differently, he's lying.

I am integral member of my company"

Men don't generally lie about what they do for a living, but they often stretch the truth. They're likely to overstate their importance to the company, and claim to do more than they actually do. If you're still in the dating phase, expect a few more white lies.

I love you too"

We're not suggesting every man who declares his feeling is putting it on. However, every bloke who says those three little words isn't sincere either. Sometimes saying that you love someone is simply the best way to avoid an argument and keep the peace. Or they simply want to sleep with you.

I'm 6 foot two ..."

Of course this lie doesn't work in the real world, but you'll be surprised how many dates it's secured for online Romeos. Adding a few extra inches can be the difference between coffee and a casual brush off. Sadly it doesn't help men score date number two!

"I swear that’s the number of people I've been with"

Ladies, if you ask your man how many partners he's had, prepare to hear a lie. There is no right answer. If the number’s small, he's likely to inflate it to appear a little cool. If his number is on the high side, he'll shrink it to appear chaster. Consider yourself warned!

5 Habits of a Happy relationship

Settle disputes peacefully

When you feel anger, avoid saying or yelling words you can't take back, instead have a planned agreement that you each will back away.

Spend quality time Together

Make time for each other. With busy schedules we often forget to relax and enjoy others. Two people can be right next to each other, yet miles apart. Ignoring someone, often hurts more than angry words! Carve out special time for just the two of you once a week.

Appreciate and Help each other Grow

Having an open appreciation for your significant other leads to a productive, fulfilling and peaceful union. Cheer for their victories. Celebrate their accomplishments, and encourage their goals and ambitions! Challenge them to be the best they can be.

Live with Integrity

Trust in each other and know you haven’t been used or taken advantage of, it creates inner peace and security. Lies fester, but the truth heals or prevents trouble. Live daily with fairness, integrity and reliability.

Fruity Dress

Is green the new color for wedding dresses? Apparently this bride thought so.

The Biter

What was this groom thinking when he took a bite of his bride-to-be's arm? Well, maybe he was just hungry.

Old School

This wedding seems just plain wild -- kicking back to the good old fraternity days with the keg. Not sure if we're laughing harder at the upside down bride or her girlfriend's red socks.

Justin Bieber Halloween Costumes

Natalie Morales

At first we thought this was Tina Fey, but it's actually Today Show host Natalie Morales. She's got the style, she's got the attitude, she's got the hair, this is a perfect Halloween costume.

Paulie D AGAIN

Paulie D seems to love dressing up as Justin Bieber, only this costume is a little more convincing than the last. If that's his actual hair then that's really impressive, but we are guessing it's a wig. He looks like a completely different person.
